Our goal

To help small business owners and solo founders pick the right AI tools without wasting time or money. We would rather tell you to skip a tool than push you to buy the wrong one.

How we rate tools

Each tool gets a score out of 10, based on four things:

• Job performance: how well it does its main job.
• Ease of use: how simple it is for a beginner.
• Value: what you get for the price.
• Fit for small business: how well it suits a solo founder or small team.

Scores are our own editorial opinion, not the tool company's. We update them as tools change and as we use them more.

How we choose what to recommend

We recommend the best tool for the job, full stop. Some of our top picks, like ChatGPT and Claude, pay us nothing, and they still rank at the top because they are the best. We never move a tool up the list because it pays a commission.

Honesty rules we follow

• We say clearly who a tool is for and who should skip it.
• We do not call every tool great. If something is weak, we say so.
• We do not promise income or fake results.
• We show real prices and note that prices can change.
• We mark affiliate links and keep the picks the same with or without commission.

Testing and updates

AI tools change fast. We review our pages regularly and update prices, picks, and scores as things change. Where we have hands-on experience with a tool, we say so. Where a rating is based on research and the tool's own free tier, we keep our wording honest about that, and we add deeper testing over time.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we want to fix it. Email hello@zeevol.com with the page and the problem, and we will check and correct it.
